
Audenza x Topshop
Buyer of luxury home ware for Topshop Cardiff.
My initial purpose for introducing a service design into Cardiff Topshop was based on my findings in the increase of luxury & contemporary accommodation being built for the influx of students. Especially with lifestyle, mental well-being having a massive impact on todays consumer buying habbits. Students are more willing to splurge on home accessories and fast fashion pieces. Topshop provide to a variety of customer profiles, but the common interest between these profiles are exploring individuality and uniqueness, especially through social media, blogging etc. With Cardiff becoming one of the up and coming cities for lifestyle, I found it strange that our Topshop hadn’t explored into in-store service designs, unlike bigger cities.
I was in search for a bespoke brand that was yet to have a retail space of their own, after extensive research I found Audenza, home ware for the fabulous and fearless. I created a marketing strategy, VM guidelines, Range plan, Promotional materials including a competition for a collaborative exclusive product, a journal of research, Pinterest and Instagram, a series of sketch up/twilight mock ups of the floor space and a proposal of a 3 month success rate before expanding into bigger cities.
